Application of hot-melt closure in Cartoner:
As a carton closure, hot-melt closure in Cartoner Machines has partially replaced traditional tuck-in closures and is used for cartoning various medicines and foods. Because of its good packaging quality, attractive appearance, and low cost, hot-melt carton closures are expected to see wider use in cartoning machines.
1. Advantages of hot-melt carton closure
The hot-melt carton closure is bonded by cooling liquid hot-melt adhesive from a hot-melt adhesive mechanism integrated with the cartoning machine, which turns the hot-melt adhesive into liquid and injects it through a spray gun onto the carton surface. It can meet carton-closure requirements overall while overcoming defects in other traditional carton closures.
2. Good packaging quality
Cartons to be transported must withstand changes in temperature and humidity, as well as violent loading and unloading, but tuck-in closures often struggle to meet this requirement. Hot melt adhesive may bond well to cartons with high permeability, so cartons sealed with hot melt adhesive are less likely to deform or crack. Additionally, the hot-melt adhesive application system can press and apply adhesive to key parts of various shapes, such as the inner folded cover of cartons.
3. Anti-counterfeiting function
Hot-melt adhesive closure also provides an anti-counterfeiting function, as the adhesive permeates the carton, and any attempt to open it will tear the fiber. However, with a tuck-in type, it can be very easy to change the articles contained in the carton and then close it again without leaving conspicuous evidence.

Minimized maintenance effort
The tank is non-stick coated with FEP for ease of cleaning, and the individual temperature control prevents adhesive charring. In addition, filters in the tank and pump outlet minimize the risk of nozzle blockage.
