Universal Blister Feeders
The Universal Feeder is designed for facilities handling diverse solid dose products. It supports frequent changeovers without requiring format parts for different product specifications.
Working Principle & Specifications:
● Format-Free Operation: Feeds various solid dose shapes, including hard capsules, flat tablets, caplets, oval tablets, and triangular profiles. It requires no dedicated format parts for different products, reducing tooling requirements and changeover times.
● Sweeping Mechanism: Utilizes circular brushes and planetary agitators. The continuous sweeping motion directs the products into the blister pockets to maintain fill rates while limiting product friction.
● Level Monitoring: The feeding box includes an optical sensor that monitors the tablet level. When a low level is detected, it signals the electromagnetic vibrator to replenish the hopper, maintaining the feed rate.
● Maintenance & Cleaning: The sweeping brushes feature a quick-release mechanism. Operators can remove, clean, and reinstall the brushes without specialized tools, supporting cGMP compliance.
