This DFP series of thermoformers is designed to pack food and medical products and supports both flexible and rigid packaging.

They are constructed from corrosion-resistant materials and a full stainless steel structure (AISI 304).

Optional vacuum and gas-flushing systems for modified atmosphere packaging (MAP) are available.

Thermoforming Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP) is a technique used to prolong the shelf life of fresh or minimally processed foods. In this preservation technique, the air surrounding the food in the package is replaced with a different composition. This can prolong the product’s initial fresh state. MAP extends the shelf life of perishable products like meat, fish, fruits, and vegetables by slowing natural deterioration. MAP is used with various types of products. The gas mixture in the package depends on the product type, packaging materials, and storage temperature.
