The Capsule Orienting & Feeding Device is an optional module for blister packaging machines, engineered for solid-dose applications that require capsules to be uniformly aligned within the blister card. This specific orientation supports anti-counterfeiting measures and maintains visual consistency for the final product.
Working Principle & Operations:
● Automated Rectification: The orienting mechanism receives capsules that are randomly distributed in the supply hopper. The internal tooling automatically sorts and rectifies the capsules, aligning them uniformly in the cap-up position prior to the dispensing phase.
● Controlled Transfer: Once properly oriented, the feeding device transfers the capsules into the formed blister cavities using a strictly controlled motion. This process ensures consistent directional placement across the entire web while limiting friction.
● Inspection Compatibility: By ensuring all capsules face the same direction, the system establishes a standardized pattern that facilitates downstream automated camera inspection and quality control processes.
