In countries with well-developed machine industry, such as Germany and Italy, research and manufacture of Blister Machine – Cartoner Production Line started in 1970s to substitute manual procedures in the packing process. The domestic pharmaceutical industry also gained further competitiveness after completion of the GMP reform, with more emphasis placed on reduction of production cost through automation of the production equipment. The Blister Machine – Cartoner Production Line has become another highlight following the GMP reform.
Shanghai Jornen Pharmaceutical Machinery Co., Ltd. started research and manufacture of flat-type Blister Machine in 1985; in 1999, it began manufacture of Cartoner; in 2001, it realized linkage of the two kinds of machines, which had undergone years of exploration and constant improvement. Up to now, the Company has provided hundreds of Blister Machine – Cartoner Production Line to foreign and domestic customers.
The production line integrates control technologies of light, electricity and air, having realized intelligent control over touch setting of film travel adjustment by adopts servo technology, automatically reject faulty blister, automatic suspension upon no feeding material, automatic suspension of carton supply upon no leaflets; Separation of drive and operating zones are in compliance with pharmaceutical GMP requirements; Exquisite Camber transparent cover assures safe operation. The mechanical transmission mechanism of the Cartoner has undergone dynamic balance treatment to realize a balanced state upon operation of the equipment at a high speed; The connection between the Blister Machine and Cartoner adopts conveying belt (which is straight or U-shaped as determined based on the site conditions), which is designed to place the transmission and cartoner in a workshop without air purification requirement for exterior packaging, so as to avoid cross contamination of the interior packaging by exterior packaging (carton and leaflet); Meanwhile, this also saves expensive area for the purification workshop and great amount of energy consumption. Otherwise, the equipment can also be linked with subsequent equipment such as Overwrappers or Stretch-Banding Machines and Case Packers to forming a one-in-all packaging production line.
