The Structure Principle of Blister Packing Machine
The Blister Packing Machine may be divided in to plate type, roller type and roller-plate type Blister Packing Machines based on structure.

(1) For the plate type Blister Packing Machine, the blister forming mould and the heat sealing mould are plate-shaped.
The features of plate type Blister Packing Machine: (1) the surface of upper and lower moulds contacts during heat sealing and sufficient temperature, pressure as well as sealing time should be provided to ensure sealing quality, and therefore it is difficult to operate at high speed; (2) the power consumed by heat sealing is relatively larger, which makes the sealing effect more desirable than that of cylinder type Blister Packing Machine, and thus applicable to small and medium batch of production and packaging of objects with special shapes;(3) the blister can be elongated to depth up to 35 mm, which can meet the demand of larger item e.g. ampoules, syringes,vials,large pills,syrups, foods,batteries and electrical appliances, etc.
(2) For the roller type Blister Packing Machine, the blister forming mould and the heat sealing mould are cylinder-shaped.
The features of roller type Blister Packing Machine: (1) vacuum forming, continuous packaging, high production efficiency; (2) instant sealing, linear contact, small power comsumption, limited heat transmission, and sound sealing effect; (3)uneven blister wall thickness due to vacuum forming,It is suitable for the blister packaging of tablet, capsule and not applicable to forming of deep blister; (4) simple structure and easy to operation and maintain.
(3) For the roller-plate type Blister Packing Machine, the blister forming mould is plate-shaped while the heat sealing mould is cylinder-shaped.
The features of roller-plate Blister Packing Machine: (1) taking the advantages of roller type and plate type Blister Packing Machine and overcoming the shortcomings of both machines; (2) adopting the plate type blister forming mould and compressed air forming, even blister wall thickness, firm, andapplicable to various packages of drugs; (3) continuous heat sealing, linear contact between PVC and aluminium foil, and sound sealing effect;(4) no blanking which saves packing materials, high-quality blister, and capable of operating at high speed,it is the best choice for mass production.
