We are thrilled to share with you our newest platen-style blister packaging machine

Jornen has established itself as a pioneer in the development of Blister machines. The company’s founder began developing the platen-style Blister machine in 1986. With more than 35 years of experience, Jornen’s blister machine has become the industry standard and market leader. Our reputation for delivering exceptional, innovative, and high-quality equipment has led us to serve customers in over 100 countries worldwide.

Conventionally the platen-style blister machine typically consists of upper and lower isolation structures. The driving area is located at the bottom, while the operation area is at the top. This structure is known for its durability and simplicity. However, it may not be very GMP-friendly for the pharmaceutical industry due to the risk of drug contamination in the driving area if they fall during production. Additionally, daily cleaning is not straightforward.
Our research and development team has put in an extensive effort to combine the strengths and weaknesses of our previous models with the latest international technology and industry trends while also meeting pharmaceutical GMP requirements. As a result, we have successfully launched a cutting-edge platen-style blister machine. Here are some of its key advantages:

The main structure of this machine includes a vertical partition that separates the drive section from the operating zones. It utilizes a GMP-compliant cantilever layout, which is easy to clean and compliant with pharmaceutical standards. Additionally, the machine is equipped with a digital position indicator for straightforward adjustment.

This machine features format locking, a positioning system, and a tool-free design for quick fitting, which allows for extremely straightforward format changeover.

The sealing pressure in this machine adopts the gas-hydraulic pressure cylinder, allowing the pressure to be set freely according to the sealing area. This is particularly important since a larger sealing area requires higher pressure. Furthermore, the machine is equipped with an integrated forming material splicer, which enhances efficiency during material replacement.

The lidding material can be easily replaced thanks to the quick-fitting design. Additionally, the blister index can be set free through the Touch Screen User Interface, which reduces the time for a format changeover.

This machine is suitable for mass production since it has a larger working station area, and the width of forming, sealing, and embossing stations reaches 180mm. All the main parts of the machine are made of premium stainless steel and alu-alloy material. They are machined by advanced high-precision CNC tooling machines, making the device visually appealing. We are delighted to introduce our latest blister technology to our customers worldwide.
