A well-known pharmaceutical company received a fully enclosed blister line from Jornen, which was custom-made for them. The blister line includes a rotary-style blister packaging machine, a continuous-motion cartoning machine, a stretch-banding machine, and a case packer.
The blister line features independent servo motors for the driving units, allowing for easy and flexible product variety changes. A vibrator feeder efficiently feeds capsules and round tablets, while a robot handles the punching part by grabbing blister cards and putting them into the timing belt.
A stable and flexible servo robot handles the connection unit between the blister and the box.
After the cartoning machine, the system checks the weight of the carton, automatically rejecting any unqualified products to ensure that no unqualified drugs enter the market.
The packaging line includes a stretch-banding machine that stacks and bundles multiple cartons into groups, which are then picked up by robots and put into a case packer.
For safety during operation, this line features a fully enclosed door.
The line is highly automated and equipped with intelligent machine vision systems and sensors to ensure efficient and safe drug production.
