Handling medical devices such as pre-filled syringes (PFS) requires strictly controlled alignment and highly specific handling parameters. To address these industry challenges, the JORNEN Syringe Blister Feeder is meticulously engineered to facilitate consistent, high-speed loading while minimizing the risk of product surface friction and contamination.
Advanced Syringe Feeding & Handling Mechanism
Our comprehensive handling system guarantees seamless transitioning from bulk supply to precise blister placement through four integrated stages:
Automated Sorting & Alignment: The process begins with a bulk supply hopper paired with an advanced mechanical orienting mechanism. Syringes are loaded in bulk, after which the system intelligently sorts, aligns, and dispenses them into precise rows for continuous downstream feeding.
Robotic Pick-and-Place Transfer: Once aligned, the syringes are distributed onto a synchronized, servo-driven conveyor. A robotic pick-and-place unit then grips the syringes in batches, transferring them swiftly and accurately into the thermoformed blister cavities.
Secure Clamp-Pack Station: To maintain perfect positioning during transit, the feeder utilizes a specialized clamp-pack mechanism[cite: 13]. A dedicated press-in station applies controlled downward force to seat the syringes deeply into custom-formed pockets, securing them firmly against any potential dislodging.
Multi-Component Configuration (Kitting): For complex medical kits that package syringes alongside vials or ampoules, our blister machines can be flexibly configured to integrate both vial/ampoule feeders and syringe feeders synchronously on the exact same production line.
Two Versatile Packaging Modes
To accommodate diverse pharmaceutical production requirements, our syringe packaging machines seamlessly support two distinct operational modes:
Sealed Blister (With Backing): In this comprehensive mode, the machine completes the entire blister lifecycle: thermoforming the plastic web, executing robotic feeding, applying foil heat sealing, punching, and outputting the final, hermetically sealed blister packs[cite: 13].
Unsealed Loaded Tray (Without Backing): Unlike solid oral doses that strictly require a sealed foil backing for moisture protection, many pharmaceutical companies choose not to seal parenteral trays[cite: 13]. In this format, the machine thermoforms the trays, feeds the syringes, and punches them[cite: 13]. Thanks to our unique clamp-pack undercut design, there is absolutely no concern about syringes falling out of the unsealed trays during subsequent handling or cartoning.

Selecting the Right Equipment: Platen-Style Blister Machines
To meet diverse production demands, we offer two robust series of platen-style blister machines optimized for pre-filled syringes:
BMP Series (Balcony Layout): Engineered in strict compliance with cGMP concepts, this series utilizes a premium balcony-type cantilever structure for optimal hygiene, rapid cleaning, and unmatched accessibility. Available models include the BMP180, BMP270, BMP400, and BMP700.
DPP Series (Traditional Layout): Featuring a classic top-and-bottom structural frame designed for reliable, heavy-duty operation. Available models include the DPP150, as well as the DPP260/350/500 series.
(Note: For both series, the model number indicates the maximum web width in millimeters. A larger numeric designation corresponds directly to a wider format and higher overall production capacity.)
